Through our associated company, Munro’s (Accounting Services) Limited, we can help you with all your general bookkeeping requirements, either at your offices or at our office. You may require help to write up books or need us to add the finishing touches to information on bookkeeping systems, in order to create your own management information. If you do not employ a bookkeeper then we can take up the role or help you recruit the right person for your business.

  VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT)  
 
We aim to ensure that VAT is only paid by clients where it should be and at the right time. VAT recovery is equally important with the aim being to recover the maximum sums available at the earliest possible time.  We can advise in many ways and prepare VAT Returns from original documentation if required.  A quick telephone call can confirm a VAT position and we can review proposals and contracts and undertake an overall review of a business’s VAT affairs or any combination of these.  We also have access to VAT specialists and can therefore advise on more complex points upon which other general practitioners may not be able.
 
 
     
  BUSINESS ACCOUNTS  
 
The firm’s core business is the preparation of accounts.  Whether your business is structured as a sole trader, partnership, limited partnership or limited company, we can bring our expertise to bear so that accounts are produced in whatever form is required, be it a legal requirement or to meet some special need.  The Inland Revenue, Bankers and/or other financial institutions place great weight and reliance on accounts produced by professionals.  We can produce accounts from your own records or from basic information, but will invariably advise you as to the most efficient way to present information to us so that we are not involved in unnecessary work and can keep our charges to the minimum level.

Mr Ceeney specialises in the taxation of Trusts.  The firm has been dealing with Trusts for the last ninety years.  The partners can advise on Accumulation and Maintenance Trusts, Discretionary Trusts, Offshore Trusts, etc.  Munro’s can assist in the preparation of Trust Accounts and Self-assessment Tax Returns, and other Statutory Trust matters to comply with the, now strict, regulations.  An individual partner can act as a Trustee, if a settlor so wishes.
